I've always assumed that my thoughts are of little interest to the general public. Prove me wrong.

Fotografia. Until I get around to figuring out how to post pictures to my blog, and then once I get around to actually doing it, here are some pictures from Spain that Hillary took. I was usually in the vicinity for most of them.

Always During Rush Hour... This story from Taiwan is incredible. Imagine you're walking down a city street, and first, a truck carrying a whale goes by. Crazy enough. But then, you see, and I imagine hear, the whale explode. The article also says a local paper reported that most of the onlookers after the explosion were men wanting to 'experience' the whale's penis. Is this why China doesn't want them to have independence?

I'm seriously thinking about getting this t-shirt. Either that or the ones that says "What Would Jesus Do (for a Klondike Bar)?"

Am I wrong... I know the many people of this land have varied opinions, interests, and beliefs, but I'm watching the President's State of the Union address right now, and I'm hoping that regardless of party affiliation, we can all agree that any Commander-in-Chief should be able to say "nuclear" without pronouncing it "nuke-u-ler."

A definite addition to my, "I can't believe someone took the time to create this" list. Its not as enjoyable as the live experience, but the popping sounds are still soothing.

Public Kept Safe from Talk of Deficit. Not surprising from the network that refused to air the Reagan minseries, CBS has rejected a commercial by Move On that asserts that the Bush fiscal policy and deficits are bad. According to the CBS people, these types of "issues" are never allowed in purchased advertising from the network. But you can watch it anyway...

Feliz Viaje. Back at work after a 9-day stint in Spain and 3 days in London. A little different than going to New England and cursing about the overbearing presence of Christmas, the holidays in Spain was filled with best friends, mucho cerveza, pellets, thwarted banditos (long story), trippy architecture, and a number of very cool sites. And from Hillary, Kevin, and Claire's reactions, the garlic shrimp was pretty good.
